WHERE IS AO YON?
Ao Yon Beach, as surprising as it may seem, is a quiet and remote beach of Phuket.
If someone would have designed it, no doubt they would be accused of using too many clichés: fine white sand, overhanging coconut palms, waves twinkling in the sunlight and a bright blue sea. Because of its location (protected by The Cape Panwa East and Chalong Bay West), there are almost no waves all year round and very few people on the beach. Most days you will have the whole beach to yourself!
